The Company We Keep vocalist Haden Brightwell will not be touring with the band; TCWK will perform their 11/14 - 11/16 dates with a replacement vocalist, and has dropped all other tour dates. A statement from guitarist Brian Southall is below, with another expected in the coming weeks.
Branden & I wanted nothing more than to spend these next few weeks on stage playing our new album for anyone that would listen, but now that will not be possible. Unfortunately, Haden informed us last week that she will be unable to join us on this tour. Her reasons are not ours to share. Our friend Kara Dupuy has offered to help us out during this time so that we can at least perform at our 2 Album...

Stream The Company We Keep's new album in its entirety on Property Of Zack - one of my favorites this year (and make sure you check out Tanner from O'Brother's guest spot on "Exposed"). There's still time to pre-order Sound/No Sound on the band's webstore. Thoughts?

Hear a new The Company We Keep song entitled "Shadowing" on AltPress. The band's full-length, Sound / No Sound releases October 29 via Easy Killer Records, and is easily one of my favorites this year.

Ever since we announced Haden Brightwell as The Company We Keep's new vocalist, we've been excited to hear results. Today we have "Control" from their upcoming full-length, Sound/No Sound (more on that later). The sound's exactly as I'd hoped - Haden's stellar vocals, molded through melodies from Motion City Soundtrack's Justin Pierre, flanked by Brian Southall's guitar/programming wizardry a la The Receiving End Of Sirens/Isles & Glaciers, and percussion via Misery Signals' Branden Morgan. Hit the replies for their music video, tour dates, and Brian's explanation of #SoundNoSound; pre-order Sound/No Sound here - the album releases October 29 via Easy Killer Records.

After a brief stint with The Company We Keep, vocalist Amy Meeko Brennan headed out west to team with After Midnight Project guitarist Spencer Bastian. The result: Glass Kids, a project unlike anything either musician has previously worked on. Today we're premiering the first track from their debut EP, Unblinded, named "Light It Up" - check it out in the replies and pre-order the EP here. Fans of ††† (Crosses), Metric, and The Kills should hear sounds they like.

The Company We Keep brought in a "mysterious guest vocalist" to contribute to their debut full-length. Can anyone tell who this dude is?

Breakdowns and bass drops seem to win record deals these days, but Easy Killer Records & Apparel must have missed the memo. Rather than succumbing to current (and awful) trends, the new label has snatched up several hard-working, highly-respected unsigned acts covered regularly 'round these parts. We've teamed with the guys to announce their launch roster, which includes Brian Marquis, The Company We Keep, Culprit, Night Verses, and Ramin Niroomand (In Fear & Faith pianist), as well as several others. Hit the replies for the full roster and announcement.

Most of the faces from The Company We Keep are recognizable figures, with members of The Receiving End Of Sirens, Motion City Soundtrack and Misery Signals contributing to the cause. A fourth member made the cut though, and Amy Brennan is ready to show you why she belongs. In her first interview as the band's vocalist, Brennan told us about her background, how singing Justin does, and TCWK's touring plans. Come read all about it here.
