I caught up again with Issues while they were in Portland, OR as part of A Day To Remember's U.S. Headliner, and you can read our interview here. In the interview we talk about a "re-imagining" of the band's debut EP Black Diamonds, titled Diamond Dreams, Warped Tour, as well as potentially working with Jeremy McKinnon in the future.
"With A Day To Remember, Pierce The Veil, and Silverstein, I learned the most by just watching and observing how headliners conduct themselves, how they act, as well as the caliber of show that they put on. It really just shows us where we need to be as a band eventually. They've shown us great examples of how not to be just another band, but THE band - these...

Head on over to Alter The Press to check out their recent interview with Tyler Carter and Case Snedecor of Issues.
From The InterviewWe actually take the time to work with different writers and different producers to get the best perspective and best possible product. Then we all give our little input and make changes to make it the best it can be. It goes through a number of different processes until it’s literally the best possible song or record or whatever, you know? And then we go in and rerecord it all like one producer for one sound and it just comes together really cool. It takes a lot of time and preparation and a lot of rewrites. We add a little bit, do things a little...

You can check out our interview with new Velocity/Rise band ISSUES here. This band features former members of Woe, Is Me, and the band have just wrapped up recording a debut EP with producer/engineer Kris Crummett.
From The Interview"We have the knowledge of a band that's risen to the top, but we have the heart of a starting new, and working our way back up. It's cool, because it's kept us grounded, but the knowledge has kept us motivated with what to do. We're working really hard, and it's definitely a hustle, but at least we have the fans that are craving stuff."
