Jack Antonoff has created a New Jersey music festival named Shadow of the City. He curated the lineup, which you can see in the replies, himself. Bleachers and Charli XCX will headline.
We're going to have a ton of fun stuff going on. The first year we're doing one stage, so there are no competing set times. All the artists will play back to back to back on the one stage. We're going to bring in all these local food trucks and carnival games. Weird NJ, which is one of the greatest magazines of all time, is going to have a presence. My sister [Rachel Antonoff] is a designer, and she's going to have a presence. We'll have records for sale. It's going to be like a little flea...

Bleachers' Jack Antonoff explains why he'll still be performing in Indiana this weekend.
"I think it's important to go and to be working with different organizations there and to raise money. I'm gonna do press on the issue. That to me is how you really make a difference. I never understood the idea of canceling a show when you don't like the politics of a specific state. The politics don't speak for everyone in that particular state; I would argue they probably don't speak for most of the people in that state, but that's who their leader is and [Gov. Mike] Pence is obviously a piece of shit and I'm excited to go and say that on stage."

Our interview with Bleachers can be found here.
If I didnít want to do something, I wouldnít do it. I choose to do a number of things because I have enough artistic space to do them all, but it is fascinating. I was talking to someone about it yesterday, about how you donít see it with film and with books and other art. In those areas, I feel like people are very encouraged to do a lot of work, but I feel like in music thereís a little bit more of a ďdo what youíre doing and nothing else.Ē

Entertainment Weekly has an interview and a exclusive stream of a song written by Jack from fun., for Super Why.
I wanted [the songs] to feel huge and larger than life and epic. I donít know if there really should be much of a difference between a childrenís show and a Bruce Springsteen concert. I think everyone should leave with the same feeling, which is hopefulness.

Our new interview with the two-time Grammy winning fun. can be found here.
Thereís a lot of stuff weíve done this year and weíve gotten really good at just shutting off. Thereís some things that are too big to even think about, and you get to the point in your head where all you can think about while youíre up there is when you used to do really small shows. Now itís the Grammys, but itís still the same thing. The environment is the same. Itís the same emotions. I play guitar the same way, Nate sings the same way, so itís really important in those moments to treat it no different than like playing a club show.
