An action-packed Kevin Devine interview is available here.
from the interviewI did, and it will come out probably in the fall. Itís so far 8 songs, I wrote 4, he wrote 4. I donít think it will be called like Manchester Orchestra featuring Kevin Devine though. I think thereíll be some kind of band name for it. We did it in Atlanta in January and Iím excited to see what happened with it because I really like it. I really like the songs, and I think itís cool.

QuoteI think there's a lot of good music out and plenty of people looking to enrich their lives listening to it and seeing it live. I don't think anyone will sell 10 million copies of anything musically ever again, but I do think people have never had more access to music, more ways to find out about bands, and I think people will keep seeking out things to enhance or mirror their experience, or to provide a social context, a way to meet like-minded people, a night out.

Kevin Devine has posted an update regarding lyrics that were stolen from him at a recent show in Hamden, CT.
Message from KevinTo Whom It May Concern:

Saturday at the Space I played a new song (tentatively) titled 'My Brother's Blood.' I had finished the lyrics (at least enough to play the song live) an hour before the set and had them next to me on a music stand during the show.

When I went back to grab them after the set, they were missing, and one of the folks working the show mentioned seeing someone grab them from the stage.

I think it's actually really cool someone would want an artifact like that, and don't intend to scold anyone for grabbing them. I would, however, ask that if...
