Kiss Kiss has launched a Kickstarter to fund the vinyl release and re-master of Reality Vs. The Optimist. It would be on 180 gram 12” vinyl via a triple label collaboration of Eyeball Records, frontman Josh Benash’s Motor Oat Records, and guitarist Mike Abiuso’s SwitchBitch Records. If the Kickstarter achieves the required amount, a limited edition run of 250 units will be printed and pressed. If funding exceeds the required amount, any additional proceeds will be put toward pressing 250 more copies of the album on vinyl along with a potential release of Kiss Kiss’ The Meek Shall Inherit What’s Left on dual disc vinyl.
Music videos from Kiss Kiss never fail to deliver intriguing and erratic visuals, and the newest vid for "All They Draw" is certainly no exception. Check it out on our Youtube Channel and let us know if you're down with it, or just creeped out.
We love Kiss Kiss. They are endlessly inventive and full of more twists and turns than a Saw movie. Today's video premiere does nothing but reinforce these facts. Check out the spastic, hilarious video for "Innocent I ( )" in the replies and leave your thoughts.
Kiss Kiss never fail to keep things interesting with a swirling string section and jaunty, angular melodies. On their July 7th release, The Meek Shall Inherit What's Left, they expand that same idiosyncratic style. Check out an exclusive stream of "Innocent I (The Corruption Of Self Through The Introduction Of Naturally Existing Self Producing Chemicals)" on the band's AP.net Profile for a taste.
Kiss Kiss will release The Meek Shall Inherit What's Left in February.
