The Starting Line has released news about their annual Holiday Extravaganza at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia. Come and join the party on Thursday, December 28th at The Electric Factory in Phila, PA for TSL's yearly holiday show. This year's show will feature Max from Say Anything, performing an exclusive acoustic set and The Almost (Aaron from Underoath).
Thin Dark Line have posted a R&B remix of "The Awesomeness" on their MySpace and PureVolume pages. This is the first song the band has self-recorded, but they promise they're hard at work on a new album and will begin posting new material as soon as they're completed.
Throwdown will embark on The Pure Hostility Tour from mid-August to September. It will also feature Zao, Evergreen Terrace, and Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster.
According to the band line up on The Confession's MySpace page, Matt Pauling (guitarist) has taken over on bass for Jake Ortiz and Justin Norman is now playing guitar in place Matt. A statement by the band has not been released yet about the leaving of Jake.
The Bledcanceled their last few shows with Say Anything, taking their place at the TLA in Philadelphia on 5/20 will be Kenny and Mike from The Starting Line doing a special acoustic performance.
Thin Dark Line has made two of their songs, "The Awesomeness" and "Luna," available for free download this week on pureVOLUME due to the fact they are a "Pure Pick." Next week we will be featuring their Blink 182 cover, "Dammit," for free download which you can currently stream at their MySpace.
For you AIM addicts, the members of Thin Dark Line are now taking shifts using the screenname: Thin Dark Line. They want you to send them an IM; they know you're bored, so just send them one. I'm sure they'll keep you entertained. This will be a permanent thing and the primary way of contacting the band from here on out.
The Starting Line might be recording their show tomorrow night in Sayreville, NJ for a live album. Also, the band updated their MySpace page with the latest installment in their "Best (and Worst) of Me" fan videos series.
Ordinary Clothing (Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance) has just released their new Spring line. To coincide, they have just launched a brand new website and have posted a lengthy update about recent happenings with the company.
Check out The Starting Line's MySpace page (under "influences") for the first in their new series of fan videos. They will be searching Youtube.com every week to find the best/worst Starting Line home videos and will be posting new ones each week. The next video will go up on Thursday, April 6th. If you see any crazy shit on youtube with TSL let them know so they can consider it for next week.
