Thin Dark Line have posted a R&B remix of "The Awesomeness" on their MySpace and PureVolume pages. This is the first song the band has self-recorded, but they promise they're hard at work on a new album and will begin posting new material as soon as they're completed.
According to the band line up on The Confession's MySpace page, Matt Pauling (guitarist) has taken over on bass for Jake Ortiz and Justin Norman is now playing guitar in place Matt. A statement by the band has not been released yet about the leaving of Jake.
Thin Dark Line has made two of their songs, "The Awesomeness" and "Luna," available for free download this week on pureVOLUME due to the fact they are a "Pure Pick." Next week we will be featuring their Blink 182 cover, "Dammit," for free download which you can currently stream at their MySpace.
For you AIM addicts, the members of Thin Dark Line are now taking shifts using the screenname: Thin Dark Line. They want you to send them an IM; they know you're bored, so just send them one. I'm sure they'll keep you entertained. This will be a permanent thing and the primary way of contacting the band from here on out.
The Starting Line might be recording their show tomorrow night in Sayreville, NJ for a live album. Also, the band updated their MySpace page with the latest installment in their "Best (and Worst) of Me" fan videos series.
Ordinary Clothing (Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance) has just released their new Spring line. To coincide, they have just launched a brand new website and have posted a lengthy update about recent happenings with the company.

They will be searching Youtube.com every week to find the best/worst Starting Line home videos and will be posting new ones each week. The next video will go up on Thursday, April 6th. If you see any crazy shit on youtube with TSL let them know so they can consider it for next week.
Thin Dark Line will not be playing tonight's show in Fayetteville, AR because of an illness in the band. They are instead returning home after two months of touring with a bunch of bands: Man Alive, Valencia, Transition, Nural, Race the Sun and The Smashup. They will be playing local shows in March and then heading out by themselves in April. Check out their tour diary and videos on their myspace page.
On the "Screaming Is For Babies Tour", The Starting Line will be playing about an hour and a half long set consisting of a new song titled "Somebody's Gonna Miss Us". The band plans to jump into the studio to record their new songs sooner than you may think.
Thin Dark Line are gearing up for their tour with Man Alive and Transition next week. They have just opened up an online store at ThinDarkLine.com with three new shirt designs. They want more Myspace friends, add them.
Taken from The Prp : Despite having left the band sometime ago, guitarist John LaMacchia will in fact be writing and recording new material for the next Candiria album with the group, though he has no plans to tour with them. Instead, he looks to focus his time on his Spylacopa project, which is planned to feature contributions from members of Isis, Poison The Well and The Dillinger Escape Plan. For now, a split release between the group and Souvenir's Young America was recently released through Underadar Records and can be snagged here.
