Lostprophets have begun recording their new album with John Feldmann (The Used, Atreyu) in Los Angeles, CA. The album is expected to be released in early 2008 and is said to be "darker, quirkier and generally more apocalyptic" according to the band.

As for other news, we are about to go in to record the new record. Hopefully it should be done by sept. Its a dark and negative record, but still catchy obvs. Time to unleash our vader.

Taking Back Sunday and the Lostprophets will be doing a UK tour together in April.

Lostprophets' new album, Liberation Transmission, is available to stream in its entirety on Clear Channel Music. The album hits stores on June 27th.

According to the band's MySpace, Lostprophets will be releasing their follow-up to 2004's Start Something on June 27th. The new effort will be entitled Liberation Transmission.

In the latest issue of Alternative Press, Ian Watkins of Lostprophets said the new album will be 13 tracks long and is scheduled for an April or May 2006 release. The album was produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Simple Plan), who apparently threw out about 30 lyrics Ian had written for the album.
