Lucero's That Much Further West 2x LP will be released November 1 on 180 gram vinyl. A double edition of That Much Further West, it will include an extra LP of bonus material taken from the original sessions, and an mp3 download coupon.

The Seattle Weekly reports that some bands still haven't been paid in full a month later for performing at Sound Fest, which featured Broadway Calls, Lucero, Jello Biafra and many, many more.

Chuck Ragan's new solo album Covering Ground will be released September 13 on SideOneDummy. The record features guest appearances from Frank Turner, Brian Fallon (The Gaslight Anthem), Audra Mae, and Todd Beene (Lucero), among others.

Sabot Productions recently announced that it's phasing compact disc releases, focusing more on vinyl and digital formats. In other news, the vinyl re-issue of Lucero's That Much Further West is currently underway.

Mumford & Sons have confirmed their first live date of 2011. The band are set to play at the Wakarusa Festival in Arkansas with the likes of My Morning Jacket, Lucero and Ben Harper.

Lucero, Big D and The Kids Table, Enter Shikari, Family Force Five and Of Mice & Men have been added to this year's Warped Tour.

You can now watch Lucero's videos for "What Are You Willing To Lose?" and "Goodbye Again."

On the heels of releasing tomorrow's 1372 Overton Park, Lucero has allowed us to give away a track from the record. On their AP.net Profile you can stream and download "What Are You Willing To Lose", a must for fans of The Hold Steady and/or the "Memphis soul sound that has long informed the band’s records from afar."

In case you have yet to do so, be sure to check out Lucero's new song "Smoke" on their myspace. The band's exceptional Universal Republic debut, 1372 Overton Park, hits stores October 6th.

According to their website, Lucero's new album is now finished. They are also looking for videographers to make videos for every song on the album.

MTV has a new series called $5 Cover, highlighting the Memphis music scene. It's a musical drama directed by Craig Brewer of Hustle & Flow, and they are releasing a soundtrack that includes Lucero, whose singer Ben Nichols is one of the main characters in the show. It's released digitally tomorrow.
