Below is a message from Man Alive regarding their recent struggle to get back into the United States and and an announcement that they will not be able to take part in the upcoming Silverstein tour.
MessageShalom to all our fans, curious myspacers and and the occasional super modern cyber goat-herder!

It is with great sorrow and distress that I announce our cancellation of our upcoming tour with Silverstien. The tour is not cancelled, just our participation. And we owe it all to Uncle Sam. Yes, that’s right. A week ago, Jamie was entering the States from Canada and was told that because you people pay 15$ to come see the bands on the Silverstien tour - they can’t allow Jamie to stay...

The Militia Group's website has an update on Man Alive. Man Alive is from Israel, and the update explains the potential impact of the conflict in the Middle East on the band.
TMG UpdateSo, with everything going on over in Israel and Lebanon, and having a band from Israel on our roster – we have been getting questions about how Man Alive is, how they are doing, etc.
Some of Man Alive flew back to Israel today and 3 of the 4 members have a good chance of being called up to fight for their country. JR’s family is from Haifa, which is a scary place to be living right now and they have been hiding out in bomb shelters for awhile. Jon and Davids brother is in the army and doing what his...

I'm very proud to bring to you an interesting interview opportunity here at Absolutepunk. Here's your one and only opportunity to ask Jason Tate any questions you'd like about anything at all. There really are no limits to what you can ask beyond keeping it somewhat respectful, even if you don't like him. He'll answer anything, but don't be a dick about it (or you may get a similar answer). Jason wanted the opportunity to answer many of the questions and accusations that fly around here on a daily basis once and for all (about music, the website, his ego, the rumors, the gossip, and his personal feelings on certain topics). Also, you as readers can use this to ask questions about the...

After a conversation Buddy (Senses Fail) and I had the other day, he was inspired to write the following.
A Message From BuddyI want to take this chance to be honest, and not think before I speak. I just feel as though so many people and so many bands are holding back. They are afraid to say what they really feel. They guard their image like filthy politicians not wanting the public to know that they are a backstabbing, blood sucking, perverted closet-monster.

I just hate the way this music scene has changed, especially this whole idea that black eyeliner "really gets the kids going." This is suppose to be about music, not making the style section of Teen People. That is the very sad...
