Maniac have already released one of my personal favorite albums of 2011 and now they're already back to work. Shawn and Jake are releasing four EPs that will eventually form their second album, Sons of Summer. The first fourth of the album has been shipped out to their loyal fans and until today, they have only heard those songs. Today, we're bringing you an exclusive listen at another track titled "Is She Black." You can either stream it in the replies or on their AP.net profile. Be sure to check out their webstore as well. All purchases go towards the funding for more music. The more you support, the more you get back!
Maniac have posted the first of four sessions which will be known as their new album, Sons of Summer. Once all sessions have been released, the artwork from each session can be placed together to form one giant piece of Maniac art. Get them now because there is only a very few available.
Maniac are currently working on their next album, tentatively titled Sons Of Summer. The band plans to release 3 or 4 songs at a time in custom hand crafted packages.
Maniac have hit the road in a unique way - with just their instruments and the clothes on their back. From now until May 18th, the band is touring the States by hitchhiking, relying on the people they meet along the way for food and shelter. If you would like to donate to them or offer them a place to stay, you can contact emily@ediphotoeye.com or help them out by purchasing a new track on bandcamp. Hit the replies for more info.
Maniac (ex-The Matches, ex-Something For Numbers) will release their debut album, Mania, on March 14th. They are also selling a limited (32 made) demo album on their site while supplies last.
