Melee has reached #16 on the UK Radio Play charts for "Built to Last," as the single was released today and the album is out in the UK next Monday. They will be touring the UK in December with Counting Crows and Ben Folds.
The Rocket Summer, Melee and The Outline will be touring in the UK in July. Melee's new single "Built To Last" goes to radio this week and will be announcing a full European headlining tour shortly for September and October. Dates in the replies.
Melee, Matt White and Until June are heading out on a small six-date tour kicking off on January 17th, and AP.net is giving away a pair of tickets to each of the stops. Here is a smorgasborg of Melee touring news: Melee has been added to Bamboozle for Sunday, they have confirmed a headlining show at The Roxy in LA on July 7th with Ronnie Day (tickets), they have confirmed the second half of the Get Happy tour with Bowling for Soup, Quietdrive and Army of Freshman, and will also be hitting the UK for the Wireless Festival with Kaiser Chiefs, The Editors, The Films and more. Don't forget their new album Devil & Angels is in stores now.
The Get Happy Tour will return for a second year featuring Bowling For Soup, Quietdrive, Melee, and Army of Freshmen. Melee, whose new record came out this past week, is the featured band on PureVolume. The album is available in Best Buys and indie stores across the country, as well as on iTunes and Amazon.com. They also recently put up a new website .
Melee have completely updated their MySpace page (design and all) and have posted a new song, "Drive Away." I've attached a few pictures from AP.net's Melee show on Thursday night at the Apple store in Santa Monica. These are just a couple preliminary shots that a friend of mine took- more pictures will be coming in soon and once I get those, I'll be posting them on here. The fans and the band all had a lot of fun so look out for more of these Apple store performances in the future!
