A few days ago it was announced Moneen was playing an acoustic set for the #MFOY 1 Year Anniversary show in Toronto on May 8th. Today we learn that the headliner is Chris Conley of Saves the Day.
Things at the Moneen camp appear to be slowly getting active again. Kenny tweeted "things are happening" a few days ago, and now it has been announced that the band are playing an acoustic set at the "My Friends Over You" one-year anniversary party in Toronto. He also shared that The Red Tree would be repressed with a bonus 7" for Record Store Day.
Engineer Records recently released Unity: A Benefit For The Children Of The Japanese Tsunami Disaster. The digital benefit compilation features exclusive tracks by The Gaslight Anthem, Moneen and Brian Southall, among others. You can stream the album and purchase the release here.
Members of Moneen, Fullblast and Oh No Forest Fires will be performing Jimmy Eat World songs Jan. 22 at Toronto's Garrison. The first 50 people through the doors will get a free gift bag from Epitaph Records.
Lifestory: Monologue have started recording their new record and they are calling it Drag Your White Fur – Make It Grey. Kenny Bridges from Moneen is also the producer.

Theneeners.com has revealed the artwork and confirmed the September 15 release date for Moneen's fourth full length, The World I Want to Leave Behind. We'll have the high-res art soon.
In an interview with Eric from Moneen, he stated the the new full length will be released September 15. Also, according to this, the album will be called The World I Want To Leave Behind.
The high-resolution artwork for Moneen's It All Started With a Red Stripe can be found here. The DVD, which will be released early summer, will feature "The start to this may be the end to another, a full documentary directed by Alex Liu. See the trailer for it here. The DVD will also feature music videos, including "The Song I Swore Never to Sing", as directed by Kenny Bridges of Moneen, and tons of behind the scenes footage.
