The Manchester Evening News stated that Morrissey "claims he was "touched inappropriately by a teacher at school."' Morrissey has stated via True-to-You that this is false.
Morrissey has never made such a claim. Furthermore, Morrissey does not use the word 'inappropriately' unless it is followed by an explanation of what an action might be inappropriate to. Morrissey is seeking legal advice on this matter.

WENN is reporting that the US version of Morrissey's autobiography has been edited to various degrees, including the editing out of details surrounding his relationship with photographer Jake Walters.
The tome, titled Autobiography, details several anecdotes involving Walters, and Morrissey writes movingly of their two years together, but in the U.S. release, which was published on Tuesday (03Dec13), many details in the original book are missing or edited down.

Morrissey has released a statement targeting the annual Thanksgiving turkey pardon. And if you want to read about why the the turkey pardon is pretty much America's dumbest tradition, read this article.
Please ignore the abysmal example set by President Obama who, in the name of Thanksgiving, supports torture as 45 million birds are horrifically abused; dragged through electrified stun baths, and then have their throats slit. And President Obama laughs. Haha, so funny!

As Ingrid Newkirk from PETA points out, turkey 'meat' is one of "our nation's top killers", causing heart-attacks and strokes in humans due to saturated animal fats and cholesterol. And President Obama laughs.

Morrissey has written a long letter that at least starts with addressing the photos have have been circulating of the American TV presenter, Melissa Bachman, having shot and killed a male lion.
I am not ashamed to admit that newspaper photographs in recent days of American TV presenter Melissa Bachman laughing as she stands over a majestic lion that had been stalked and shot dead by Bachman herself left me tearful. Although I have previously felt enraged by the asininity of U.S. congressman Paul Ryan, and political fluffhead Sarah Palin - both of whom also kill beings for fun, there is something especially lamentable about the Bachman smile of pride as the lion - a symbol of strength,...

Jimmy Kimmel has invited Morrissey back on his show. As one of the biggest Moz fans around, even I can say that Kimmel has been the one to come out looking good through all this - while the King of Mope looks like a petulant child.
"I'd like to invite him to join the show to discuss," Kimmel said. "I'm an open, even-handed person, and I consider all points of view... If I keep saying it, maybe it will be true. I've invited him to talk this out, and perhaps we will both be better men for it, but probably not."

Morrissey has issued a statement regarding what Jimmy Kimmel said last night during Jimmy Kimmel Live.
I was disappointed with last night's Jimmy Kimmel Show wherein our smiling host managed to ridicule depression (70% of Americans have experienced depression according to the National Institute of Mental Health). He then found time to ridicule healthy eating (the obesity epidemic in the U.S. costs $147 billion per year in medical expenditure), and he also ridiculed the notion that animals should be entitled to the possession of their own lives. Furthermore, he found time to jokingly promote gun-ownership - hugely amusing for the parents at Sandy Hook, no doubt. He also promoted his...

Morrissey, always the quotable, was recently interviewed.
A group like the Sex Pistols would never again be allowed to slip through, and there is no such thing in 2013 as a popular artist who sets their own terms for success. Whether it be Beyoncé or Justin Bieber, we see singers who have absolutely nothing to offer anyone as they walk offstage clutching three Grammys in each hand.

Morrissey was supposed to play "Jimmy Kimmel Live" tomorrow night. Also appearing on the show: the cast of the A&E duck hunting-based reality show "Duck Dynasty." You know how this is going to end, right? Morrissey says he won't play unless they boot the duck-hunters. Kimmel has replaced Morrissey with Churchill.
Morrissey is thankful for being invited to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow, February 26. However, he cannot morally be on a television program where the cast members of Duck Dynasty will also be guests. Morrissey would be honored to play the show, if Duck Dynasty were removed. Morrissey stated, "As far as my reputation is concerned, I can't take the risk of being on a...

Morrissey's libel case against NME has been put to rest.
From the Article NME is pleased that it has buried the hatchet with Morrissey in respect of the libel case he brought against us in 2007. Morrissey sued over an article based on interviews with him which he believed accused him of racism. After an on-going dialogue with Morrissey and his representatives, NME today publishes a clarification in the magazine and online which makes it clear that we do not believe we ever called Morrissey a racist and nor do we believe he is. We have said sorry to Morrissey for any misunderstanding that may have arisen. The settlement with Morrissey does not involve payment of any damages or legal...
