Scenes from a Movie need help booking their current tour. All the dates are on their myspace page, and if anyone has shows they can jump on they'd love the help (contact them on myspace). They have a new song up on purevolume, and yes - he knows he sounds like Patrick from Fall Out Boy.

More than fifty recordings, including Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation and Jimi Hendrix's Are You Experienced, have been added to the National Recording Registry, which means that they are "national treasures."

Beer: The Movie, a sketch comedy troupe from Long Island, will be hitting stores in DVD format on May 16th; however, you can pre-order it now. This will be released by Halo 8 Productions and distributed by Red Distribution. The soundtrack is, and has been, available on Triple Crown Records for quite some time now and features: Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Crime In Stereo and more.

The Angels & Airwaves movie will most likely not see a release until sometime next year.

Coachella The Movie, a documentary on, obviously, the Coachella music festival, will be released on DVD on April 18th. It includes live performances by The Arcade Fire, Bright Eyes, The Flaming Lips, Iggy & The Stooges, Oasis, The Pixies, Saul Williams, The White Stripes, Belle & Sebastian, Radiohead, and a million other bands. It also features interviews with acts such as The Bravery, The Futureheads, Trail Of Dead, Muse and a bunch others.

Scenes From A Movie will be posting a new demo Saturday at 12:01am (Friday night if you will) called "Hang Your Halo" on their Purevolume site, as well as putting up their old EP Take Hands. Take Hearts. Take Aim, for download for all of Saturday.

Action Action have posted "The Game" - the first single off their new album (our January 24th on Victory) on their myspace page.

The people behind Coachella have announced Coachella, a film featuring performances from the last six years of the biggest indie rock festival in America. Performances include The Arcade Fire, Bright Eyes, The Pixies, Morrissey, Oasis, Radiohead, The White Stripes, The Polyphonic Spree and more. It will debut in theaters in late January 2006.
