The MTV created boy band 2ge+her is reuniting with a huge TV special.

The Motel Life's song, "Alva," is featured on the MTV show “Caged” and is available for a free download on the show’s website. To celebrate this, the band’s current full length, Retreat, is available for “pay what you want” on Bandcamp.

Possibly because of some of your participation earlier this morning, A Day To Remember won MTV's breakthrough band for 2011.

MTV is letting the public vote on who their favorite breakout band of 2011 is. A Day To Remember, Young The Giant and Foster The People are just a few you can vote for. You can vote for the band of your choice here.

MTV has posted a live video of Jack's Mannequin performing "Release Me."

The Trace are currently being featured on MTV's Buzzworthy.

MTV Iggy has launched another Best New Band in the world contest. It consists of 10 artists from around the world in which fans vote for their favorite. Nominees include Skrillex, Angus & Julia Stone, and more.
