We've just updated our music player with five tracks, some of which were recently released. Jason Tate picked Australia's The Living End, I picked Toronto hardcore band Cancer Bats, Thomas Nassiff chose Daytrader, Adam Pfleider selected Code Orange Kids whose split EP is streaming right now, and Christian Wagner chose American Opera. Check out the tunes and let us know your thoughts!

We've updated the staff music player with four new jams for you guys to stream. I chose The Wonder Years' awesome cover of Into It. Over It.'s "Anchor," Joe Deandrea went with an old Eve 6 song called "Rescue," the man-in-charge Jason Tate recalled his Thursday Discussion by choosing the Stars of Track and Field's "The Breaking of Waves," and Adam Pfleider chose Caravels' "Bone Voyage" in the midst of watching SXSW showcases in his backyard. Listen to the tracks and leave your thoughts!

We've got four new songs for you over in the music player to the right of the homepage. Sweet new tunes by The Menzingers, Shearwater, The Maccabees and Logic are currently rocking the player, so give them a listen and leave your thoughts in the replies.

Fall Out Boy, Five Iron Frenzy, and Miniature Tigers all have songs added to the AP.net Player conveniently located to your right on the home page. What song would you like to see on here? Be the 250th post in this thread and you'll get to choose the fourth. Feel free to post as much as you'd like to get to 250!

We've updated our homepage music player with a couple fresh sonic treats. From Jason's end comes a Say Anything b-side from the Is A Real Boy era, an inspired choice. Anton decided upon a Guided By Voices classic that will make you long for the indie rock of yore. I was recently swept off my feet by "500 Days of Summer" like so many others, so I went with The Temper Trap's "Sweet Disposition", which makes you feel like you're floating (also read: falling in love with Zoeey Deschanel). And the last track is an epic pop-punk achievement of a song from Saves The Day performed live, acoustically and destined to appear on their forthcoming album, Daybreak. Enjoy and leave feedback!

Jason and I have updated our selections in the music player (right side of the homepage). Perhaps hinting at his recent indulgence in a certain record, Jason has chosen Jesse Lacey's cover of the Jawbreaker classic "Accident Prone." My spot has been given to Alvin Band, the "vocal composition" side project of Miniature Tigers' drummer. His single, "Temple Pressure", is a true indie-pop ear-trip, making use of only body noises and a Powerbook. We hope you enjoy!

Hey all, you may have noticed the new music player to the right of the page as one of the new additions to AP.net. We'll be updating it every so often with new songs that we think you should definitely check out. Today, I updated to Thursday's "Jet Black New Year" off of their Five Stories Falling EP. If you haven't listened to it, give it a shot and if you have, why not check it out again? Like what you hear? Be sure to pick up the album.
