Burglary Years is a band from Boston that you could probably tag with a "dream-pop" label, but that doesn't stop the group from spending about half of its new six-minute single "Hatch" rocking out in a pretty heavy way. "Hatch," which you can find in the replies, is a song that lends itself to the listener as a perfectly adequate backdrop for zoning out and falling into its hazy melodies, but it's clear that the songwriting here is well thought out. Burglary Years will release 100 Roses this July via Boston-based label Disposable America, and the record has taken the group years to finalize; the result, if "Hatch" is proper indication, will be an LP worth listening to for its unique...

If Cute Is What We Aim For hooked up with Motion City Soundtrack and had a baby, it would sound a lot like Treason This. The Wisconsin band will self-release their new EP, Always Perfect, on June 30th, but you can stream it now in its entirety in the replies. It's infectiously catchy with just enough uniqueness to make it stand out.

One of the best parts of Warped Tour is discovering bands you've never heard before, so we're excited to introduce you to London's own TAT. Check out their new single, "Anxiety," in the replies. Frontwoman Tatiana DeMaria channels Joan Jett with her raspy-yet-melodic voice and punk rock ethic. The trio are rocking Warped's Beatport stage this summer, then finishing up their sophomore album for an early 2016 release.

Well Kept Things will release their debut EP, Homegrown, tomorrow via Antique Records. We are streaming the whole thing a day early, which you can hear below. The EP definitely reminds me a lot of Just Surrender, namely the vocals on tracks like "Younger" and "Great White North." Fans of pop-punk should enjoy this upcoming band, as Homegrown screams summer. If you're liking what you hear, you can pre-order the EP. Well Kept Things will also be doing a quick tour - you can find those dates in the replies, as well.

Nerve Clinic's Fail Better was recorded back in 2012, but it was put on the back burner when frontman Chase Griffis' focus shifted to his other band, Heartless Breakers. The album will finally see the light of day on July 17th via Take This to Heart Records. You can stream one of its tracks, "Slacktivism," in the replies. Revisiting the effort provides an interesting look at an early 20-something musician finding his footing. Blending the old with the new, the Utah group is recommended for fans of Fireworks, Hot Rod Circuit and The Juliana Theory.

Sudden Suspension recently signed to Bad Timing Records and will release a new EP called There's A Bigger Picture Here on June 16th. You might remember when we premiered "As Good As It Gets," and today we are streaming the whole thing. Similarly to that song, the EP contains straightforward fast-paced pop-punk songs, perfect for fans of Knuckle Puck or Forever Came Calling. The bass flexes on "Eventually," while "Cheap Seats" cranks the pace up the max with arguably the best chorus here. Give it a listen below if you're looking for a good EP for summer drives with the windows rolled down. If you like what you hear, be sure to pre-order it.

Florence + the Machine have their first number one album on the Billboard charts.
Rock act Florence + The Machine claims its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as their third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, debuts atop the list. The set was released on June 2 and shifted 137,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 7, according to Nielsen Music. Previously, the act -- which is led by singer Florence Welch -- topped out at No. 6 with their last album, 2011’s Ceremonials. Florence + The Machine’s 2009 debut, Lungs, peaked at No. 14.

Pentimento will release a new 7" called Stuck Forever via Bad Timing Records in anticipation of a full length coming this fall. We are streaming the title track, which you can hear in the replies. Whereas Inside The Sea drew heavy influences from Where You Want To Be-era Taking Back Sunday, "Stuck Forever" has a more somber feel early on, with guitar plucks echoing the softer vocals. The guitars and drums pick up as the chorus takes off, making the line "Does it feel like we're stuck forever, alone together" get stuck in your head. The repetition hits harder every time and then the song cuts back to the softer side, making the chorus really stand out. The result is one of the best songs...
