MxPx will be releasing their new album, Plans Within Plans, through Flix Records in mainland Europe & UK on April 3, 2012 (UK, distributed via Plastic Head) and April 7, 2012 (Rest of Europe: distributed via Cargo Records). The album will feature 13-tracks and contains the first single "Far Away." It's hitting the states on April 3rd through MRI/Rock City Recording Company.
MxPx will release a music documentary entitled Both Ends Burning, featuring footage from the band's 2008 world tour all the way to the band's sold-out Seattle show in March 2011. The MxPx All-Stars (Mike Herrera, Jose Garzon of FLF, and Harley Trotland of Tumbledown) will embark on a three-week tour through South America and Europe starting on October 12 in Mexico City, Mexico and ending on October 29 in Stadthalle Buelach, Switzerland. Tooth & Nail have releasedMxPx's Triple Shot, a 57-song triple CD set which includes tracks from their first three albums. A new album is expected to be released by the end of the year, produced by the band's very own Mike Herrera.
