The last source that people are going to listen to is the band itself. Whatever you hear about them that comes from a magazine or whatever, people will believe it. We always give our side of our story and if people want to listen to it, it’s up them. All the drama online – there is nothing we can do about it.

My American Heart have launched a series of exclusive, acoustic sessions courtesy of purevolume. You can watch the group perform "Boys Grab Your Guns," "Tired and Uninspired," and "The Shake (Awful Feeling)" right here. The tracks are taken from the outfit's latest effort, Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather, which is available now via Warcon Entertainment.

Quietdrive will be embarking on a headlining tour with My American Heart, Just Surrender, and House Of Fools as support beginning in late October; dates are forthcoming.

My American Heart have posted the song "The Shake (Awful Feeling)" on their myspace page. The song will be the single off of their new album and they just shot a video for it last week in Seattle with director, Travis Kopach.

You can now preorder the new My American Heart record, Hiding Inside the Horrible Weather. Woo! Happy new year everybody. A few things we have to announce. So as some of you may know we've been at home for the past month or so finishing up the writing to what will be our next full length record. We're about 13/14 songs in right now and we are all so excited about the new material. James Paul Wisner(underoath, the academy is, dashboard confessional) will be the man behind the boards and will be producing the cd. We are all very excited to be flying out to florida for 2 months and...

My American Heart recently announced that they will be entering the studio in February to record their second full-length album.
