Mikey Way (My Chemical Romance) has sent in this recommendation of his upcoming tourmates Drive By.
Message from the BandThe other day, I was given the new Drive By record by my dear friend Todd Price. For those of you who are unfamiliar, he sings and plays guitar in the band. I had been eagerly awaiting this record quite some time. Their initial release floored me. It's everything about music that I love. Amazing and honest rock songs. Todd has the uncanny knack to write the kind of chorus that I'm jealous. Upon listening to their record "A Delicate Situation" I was knocked on my ass once again, and I expected nothing less. If this band isn't gigantic by the end of the year,...

My Chemical Romance will be playing a special show at Madison Square Garden with guests Taking Back Sunday and Drive By. The show is scheduled for May 9th, and will conclude their upcoming headlining tour.
Message from Mikey Way Hello to our dear fans

We are pleased to announce a show at NYCs one and only, Madison Square Garden. I know that its not a special small club show like the others on the tour coming up through the US. MSG holds a special place in our hearts. About 12 years back, my big brother took me to see The Smashing Pumpkins at that very venue. I turned to him and said "this is what I want to be...this is what we have to do...one day we are going to be on...

Bob Bryar of My Chemical Romance posted a myspace blog explaining his wrist problems and the recent show cancellations.
Message from BandHi, it's Bob. We are very sorry about canceling our recent show in Maine. I have been having many problems with my wrists over the past few years. They have been getting worse but I kept playing. I have seen many doctors to get some relief so I wouldn't have to stop playing. I guess I pushed it too hard this time. During our show at Maxwell's I got a golf ball-sized lump in my wrist, I started to not only have pain, but lose control and feeling in my fingers. I went through a process to control the swelling and attempted to play the show with Bon Jovi...

Fan ReportJust got back from the My Chemical Romance Charity show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ. This place held about 200 people! Very small and intimate.

ANYWAY... They filmed the set for a future DVD they annouced before the show started... and they played a new song in which Gerard said he would not give the name to, and even said it was the "final" name claiming we would "bitch if they changed the name in the future"... BUT.. my girlfriend and I got the playlist from the show. The new song was called "Death Wish"
