Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel is self-releasing a vinyl-only box set of the band's entire discography, including 15 unreleased tracks and two posters. One dollar from each set will be donated to the Children of Blue Sky charity. You can pre-order the box set here, and also purchase the 15 unreleased songs via a "pay-what-you-wish" method on Bandcamp. Both will be released November 22nd.

It's been quite a decade for us. We've seen music pass through digital, manipulative frequencies and watched others strip their sounds bare. In a decade where there was not only an industry shift, but a creative shift in rediscovery, I'm going to throwback to a band that still stirs controversy of positive praise and negative guff to this day - Neutral Milk Hotel. For one week only, you can watch footage of an entire solo Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel show from 1997 on Pitchfork TV.

Various members of the Elephant 6 Collective will doing a 13-date tour this October, with members of Neutral Milk Hotel (main songwriter Jeff Mangum is not confirmed for the shows though), Olivia Tremor Control, Elf Power and others. The new short film "Major Organ and the Adding Machine," a collaboration of the collective featuring musical and theatrical contributions from members of Neutral Milk Hotel (including Jeff Mangum this time), Of Montreal, Olivia Tremor Control, Elf Power and others, will be screened at the beginning of each show.
