According to SPIN, at a show in Paris last night Kanye West made what seems to be a vague reference to his much-anticipated follow-up to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, saying "I've been working on my new shit. According to an interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 yesterday, Frank Ocean is fairly deep into work for his follow-up to last year's critically-acclaimed channel ORANGE. "I'm ten, eleven songs into this next thing," Ocean said. He also alluded to collaborations with Pharrell, Danger Mouse, and possibly Tame Impala.

The Promise Ring will be playing Turner Hall in Milwaukee on February 24th and the Metro in Chicago on the 25th. They will also be releasing a rarities album in summer 2012 via Dangerbird Records.

BlogNow why am I bringing this all up? I mean, obviously Iím making a statement like this to defend the new HTL record because itís different, right? Not exactly. Through everything this band has been through in the past year and a half of writing new songs, I donít think that this record in any way is NOT an HTL record. It is. But I have noticed that a lot of people make comments on how they canít wait for a new HTL record because they need more ďgood pop-punkĒ, and honestly, thatís not what this record is.
