Breakdowns and bass drops seem to win record deals these days, but Easy Killer Records & Apparel must have missed the memo. Rather than succumbing to current (and awful) trends, the new label has snatched up several hard-working, highly-respected unsigned acts covered regularly 'round these parts. We've teamed with the guys to announce their launch roster, which includes Brian Marquis, The Company We Keep, Culprit, Night Verses, and Ramin Niroomand (In Fear & Faith pianist), as well as several others. Night Verses drummer Aric Improta is a 1 of 5 finalists in the 2012 Guitar Center Drum-Off. The grand finals will be held January 19 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles; tickets can be purchased here. Watch some of his previous Drum-Off performances in the replies.
