Voice coach Melissa Cross, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Scream" who has developed a training program that teaches proper technique to a new breed of unrestrained rock singers (a list that includes Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Randy Blythe of Lamb of God, and Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die) talked to Robert Siegel on NPR's "All Things Considered" about her techniques and the philosophy behind them.
