The 1975 were guests on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning and took part in the "Call or Delete" prank phonecall game. Matty Healy not only prank called Niall Horan and Harry Styles of One Direction but also confirmed that he is writing music for the group (which may add more of an explanation to this photo). Listen to the whole bit in the replies.

Fall Out Boy and The 1975 in the same room together? This is relevant to my interests. Those other guys look like One Direction ... I don't care as much about them.

One Direction's new album is projected to sell between 500-575k copies its first week.
From the Article"Take Me Home" is projected to sell over 500,000 copies by Nov. 18, with hopes that the number could reach as high as 575,000. If the album does see that kind of success, it will find itself just behind the year's two most successful records -- Taylor Swift's "Red" which sold 1.2 million in its first week, and Mumford & Sons' "Babel" which sold 600,000.

One Direction says that Ed Sheeran is "one of the best lyricists of our generation." Sheeran wrote a new One Direction track entitled, "I Would," which will be featured on their upcoming album.
From the Article"He's just one of the best lyricists of our generation, so having the chance to work with him is amazing. It was really important for us," he said. "His method recording wise, you just do a couple of takes because he likes to keep it really raw and really real."

I would apologize for posting about Blink 182 and One Direction in the same news post ... but I'm gonna. Instead I'm going to say that someone submitted us this image of both band's videos -- in the same location. OMG.

John Mayer coasts at the top of the charts again this week, moving almost 68,000 additional copies of Born and Raised - a 71 percent decline from his meteoric sales last week. Adele and One Direction come in after Mayer, while Regina Spektor and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros see the two highest debuts at No. 4 (38,000) and No. 6 (29,000), respectively. Sigur Ros also saw an excellent debut week, cracking the top 10 and No. 9 with 24,000 copies of Valtari. Equally as awesome, fun. saw a huge rise in sales, increasing 57 percent and selling another 17,000 copies of Some Nights - perhaps partially in thanks to the awesome music video they came out with.
