In the replies you can view the artwork for Paramore's upcoming single "Now." Some of you may say "why is this news?" but honestly we're just excited to hear this jam. It will hit our ears on January 22nd.
I was lucky enough to get to ask Hayley Williams some questions about Paramore's upcoming Self-Titled album which drops in a few months. We talked about the sound of the new album, the band's rocky past three years and more.
Johnny Minardi (Former A&R of Fueled By Ramen) is selling a bunch of rare vinyl from Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Panic! At The Disco and more. He's also donating part of the auction money to Hurricane Sandy relief. Check out what he has to offer and fill in your collection.
They forgot to include Hayley Williams on this list, however, according to another article from the same site, she's worth around 8 million dollars. Fred Durst is on the list for having 8 million dollars (he's #84).
The producer of Paramore's new album talked a little about his process in a new interview, stating the band doesn't "need to be a pop-punk band anymore" and "All I’m really trying to say is that we’re not trying to deliberately lose their natural commerciality. I am here to articulate their vision for a step of growth. I’m not afraid to put a guitar through a modular synth, for instance. I want the album to sound very visceral and a little bit less locked down and computerized—more 1981 than 2012, with a nod to 2016. Humans playing textural sounds that can still be heavy and fast, but also shaded."
Paper Route is going on a short tour with HalfNoise (Zac Farro, ex-Paramore). The dates and tour poster are in the replies. Paper Route has been finalizing the details for its second album, The Peace of Wild Things, which is expected later this year. HalfNoise will release its first song/music video tomorrow.
Just got confirmation that my ears do work. As we know, Hayley Williamstweeted that she contributes some background vocals on the new mewithoutYou album. However, I wanted to make sure before posting what songs she appears on, and can now say that they are: "Fox's Dream of the Log Flume" and "All Circles." I posted a few of my initial thoughts on the new album here, and will add to that: I honestly didn't recognize Hayley's vocals until I started looking for them. That said, they fit in perfectly. Don't waste your breath complaining.
