Rolling Stone are following in our footsteps, and interviewed Hayley Williams and Taylor York of Paramore.
From the InterviewI always wanted to be a part of Paramore, but I just didn't know – "Is this a reality? Am I kidding myself?" It was just tiring, I guess. We were all friends, we grew up together, and that was the most disappointing . . . That sucked more than any of the band-professional career stuff. I mean, of course that sucked, but when everything sort of started falling to pieces between Brand New Eyes and making this album, there were definitely days I would wake up and think it would be so easy to put up some sort of letter saying it's just too hard, we've had a good run,...

I was lucky enough to get to ask Hayley Williams some questions about Paramore's upcoming Self-Titled album which drops in a few months. We talked about the sound of the new album, the band's rocky past three years and more.
From The InterviewAbsolutely. I am so thankful for all that we have been through. You really do learn more from the bad... I believe that. It just does something to your perspective and I have never seen the three of us so clearly. Taylor and Jerm are so talented. We all really needed each other during this process because yes, at first, it was strange and uncharted territory. Then again, if we hadn't been forced into it, we might've never made a voluntary decision...

We are ready to spill the beans about what we've been doing over the last *coughYEARcough*. With the most pride and passion we could ever possibly express, we would like to announce that this album, our fourth freaking album... Will be self-titled, 'Paramore'. Gwen Stefani - 80 million
Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge - 60 million each

Paramore are about 1/2 way done with their new album.
Blog from the Bandfair warning. i am allllll over the place tonight! so hopefully, you guys can follow along down these rabbit trails…we’re officially a little over half-way through the tracking of this album. it feels real-er than ever. i’m starting to understand all these songs more and where they’ve actually come from… for a minute, it was such a whirlwind of inspiration, emotion, and sweat. now that we’ve spent some time getting to know the album and growing with it, i can finally tell myself it’s real. i can just almost tell myself that it’s alright to relax.

have you ever been that way? haven’t you ever said “things are so...

The producer of Paramore's new album talked a little about his process in a new interview, stating the band doesn't "need to be a pop-punk band anymore" and "All I’m really trying to say is that we’re not trying to deliberately lose their natural commerciality. I am here to articulate their vision for a step of growth. I’m not afraid to put a guitar through a modular synth, for instance. I want the album to sound very visceral and a little bit less locked down and computerized—more 1981 than 2012, with a nod to 2016. Humans playing textural sounds that can still be heavy and fast, but also shaded."

Sherri Dupree-Demis of Eisley has posted a blog titled "A cry to fans for peace regarding Paramore vs Eisley." Read it below.
BlogI can’t believe I’m about to address this, but….Wow…I think I have to..Because you would never believe how weary I am of the Paramore vs Eisley stuff still going on all these years later. I still can’t get on Tumblr without something popping up regarding our two bands in some sort ‘them vs us’ sort of way.

I don’t want to be the girl from Paramore, she does not want to be me, I am not “trying to dress like her”, she is not ‘trying to dress’ like me, I am not trying to “have her hair” (btw, have you seen her hair? I am pretty sure it’s orange and I’ve never...

Paramore has started recording drums for its new album. Hayley Williams has also posted a new blog which you can read here.
From the BlogWhen I was 17, I started writing lyrics to a song that would later be called “Let The Flames Begin”. It was on our sophomore album, RIOT! I never felt like it really sounded as meaningful on record as it seemed when we played it live. Over the years, we added on and added on to it. Not only is it one of our favorites to play at shows but one of the most highly requested live songs by… ahem… you guys. Maybe it’s just because the song is heavier than most our other songs or maybe it’s cause it feels really emotional to sing some of those words. Either...

Yelyah BlogWell… as promised, I’m back here doing a blog. Writing a blog. This weekend is the first time in over a week that I’ve been all on my lonesome. We’ve had family, friends, and co-workers in and out of here, visiting or helping us with various things… such as stay sane while off the road. My sister just left yesterday morning. She visited me all week and we basically did everything there is to do here in Los Angeles. Found ourselves in that infamous traffic all week long. Even so, we still walked to the Hollywood sign, sat on a cliff in Malibu (right near our old band house during BNE recording...

Looks like Paramore have one song recorded from their new album.
From the InterviewAt this point, we have recorded one song with Justin. That time in the studio was easily the most relaxed, inspired, and liberating experiences we have had in any studio thus far. We are huge fans of his work not only as a producer but as a musician, writer and musical director. He wears all those hats well and with a lot of humility.

Paramore will be recording their new album with Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
From the BlogThe guys and I went in to record a song for our 4th album about a week and a half ago. Except that we weren't exactly sure how it was going to go or that the end result would be something we actually wanted to use, it was all very exciting. At the end of our time in the studio, it was clear to us that this was definitely right! So without delaying any longer, we would like to announce that our 4th album's producer is Justin Meldal-Johnsen. And what the heck, we might as well tell you that the one song we recorded will be called "Daydreaming". (It's the one we "tweeted" about writing in a hotel...

Just got confirmation that my ears do work. As we know, Hayley Williams tweeted that she contributes some background vocals on the new mewithoutYou album. However, I wanted to make sure before posting what songs she appears on, and can now say that they are: "Fox's Dream of the Log Flume" and "All Circles." I posted a few of my initial thoughts on the new album here, and will add to that: I honestly didn't recognize Hayley's vocals until I started looking for them. That said, they fit in perfectly. Don't waste your breath complaining.
