Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) has answered some questions about his upcoming solo record with Spin.
From the InterviewIt's sad that people really go out of their way to tell everyone everything about themselves. Our country has verbal diarrhea. It's really sad -- there's no mystery, no surprise. "Love Selfish Love" is just about that. It would be nice to go on a first date with somebody and not be able to know everything about them from their MySpace or Facebook profile. There's no first impressions anymore. You go to a job interview and they'll probably Google you. It's a shame -- people should play it a little closer to the chest as far as what information they release to the world. If...

Interview TeaserAP.net How do you respond to people who say they wish Fall Out Boy would just write another Take This To Your Grave?

Patrick: It's one of those things where the answer is of course we won't, because what you want if you're asking that question is a specific time in your life to come back to you, and that will never happen. You will never be 15 years old again. I could write, verbatim, another Take This To Your Grave, and you won't feel the same way. It's not going to mean anything to you because it wouldn't mean anything to me. And another thing is, we feel like...

Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) is working on an album but can't say what it is.
From the WebsiteI'm working on a record but can't say what it is. And the funny thing is I have a long history of working on records and not ever being utilized. So I don't want to jinx it. Suffice it to say I'm rather excited about this particular album yet have already resigned myself to the probability that the songs I wrote won't make it to the final release. Oh Patrick Stump, you pessimist.
