It looks like Polar Bear Club is also on hiatus.
The statement that fireworks released the other day is pretty in line with where pbc is at.

Polar Bear Club's new album, Death Chorus, hits stores tomorrow (you will be able to read my review on the record later tonight), and a lot of discussion has focused on vocalist Jimmy Stadt's cleaner vocal delivery. So Stadt released a statement about the new vocal direction, which you can read in the replies.
Donít get me wrong, this isnít an excuse or an apology, we in PBC back this record 100 percent including the vocals. If it isnít your thing then thatís fine, itís completely fine if you prefer older records to this one! What isnít fine though is the idea that weíre trying to ďget bigĒ or ďgo mainstreamĒ or ďRise Records changed usĒ yadda yadda yadda. I feel stupid that I even have...

Bassist Erik Henning has left Polar Bear Club.
Hi people. We wanted to throw this out there just to let everyone know that our boy and bass man Goose (Erik Henning) has left PBC. I donít want to speak for him too much but simply put, he was ready to move on to other things in life and weíre happy for him. We truly wish him the best and if you like, you can too over @American_Goose. If youíve seen us on our current tour you may have noticed a very tall man-boy holding what looks like a toy bass in his gargantuan arms. Thatís Ty Smith. Heís an old friend of ours and heíll be holding down the bass duties for us. Everything else is good in PBC world. This tour with Bad Religion and The...
