Protest the Hero drummer Moe Carlson has left the band to go back to school. Lamb of God's Chris Adler is filling in on their new album, which is due out in the fall.
Tim Millar from Protest the Hero recently discussed the band's new record and successful Indiegogo campaign in a new interview with MetalSucks.
If everything goes as planned, the album should be out the first or second week of September. Touring would start a couple of weeks before that. That’s the plan. We’ll spend about two months in the studio, and whatever else it takes to get everything done. The release date is tentative — we’ve been bad in the past with meeting deadlines — but we think we’re giving ourselves enough time to get it done. Come fall we’ll have a new album, and we’ll be touring to support everything and do another album cycle.
Protest the Hero have announced the second leg of their US tour in support of their latest album, Scurrilous. They will also be making a video for newest single "Hair Trigger" out November 1. Check the replies for tour dates.
Rody Walker of Protest The Herorecently talked to BLARE Magazine and said their upcoming record will be different from their last two as it won't be a concept album.
