Sandlot Heroes have posted a brand new demo called "Out of My Hands" on their myspace page. The band also has a couple of songs there that they recorded with Steve Soboslai of Punchline. The band plans to head into the studio in June to record their debut album.
Former Hawthorne Heights and Say Anything guitar tech Nick Testa has surfaced in his own band, Nightbeast, whose debut album is being produced by Steve Soboslai of Punchline and will be out late this spring via Thriving Records.
Punchline will be performing a free show for students of Pennsylvania State University at The Hub tomorrow, Friday, October 5th. The act will be supporting their latest release, 37 Everywhere, which is available now via Fueled by Ramen. Barely Blind will be opening the show supporting their debut EP, The Way We Operate out now on TDR Records.
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based pop-punk outfit Punchline have selected Sean O'Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights) to produce the second half of their forthcoming, currently untitled release, which is scheduled to hit shelves next year courtesy of Fueled by Ramen Records.
Punchline has made a new song entitled "The Hit" available for streaming on their myspace profile. The group are currently writing and recording for their follow-up effort to 2006's 37 Everywhere, which is available now via Fueled by Ramen.
Head over to Punchline's myspace blog where they tell you to watch all three videos as many times as possible that are linked. If all three hit 15,000 plays, a new video will be posted by the band featuring a brand new song in it's entirety.
Punchline have a special acoustic recording of 'Don't Try This At Home' on Myspace. You can check out the video for the song now at Myspace.com Music Videos. You can catch them on tour this summer with Bowling For Soup and at a special hometown show in Pittsburgh with Taking Back Sunday and Angels And Airwaves.
Punchline and Valencia will be not be playing The Early November's record release show on July 11th at The Trocadero. There apparently was a miscommunication problem on both ends; it's none of the bands' faults, so please don't anyone get mad at any of the bands. Everyone is very frustrated and sorry about the entire situation. Rest assured, though, that there will be two other bands to replace them, as soon as it's confirmed and we know, you'll know.
