Honest question: When a band is going to push a song to digital outlets (like Paramore releasing their new single last night), is it really not possible to coordinate the launch so that it goes up all across the world at the same time? The song being up on YouTube and Tumblr before it's even available in the states because someone from another country was able to buy it early and post it ... just doesn't make much sense to me. I feel like there should be a better way to do something like this.

Back in June, Jason asked you guys what exclusives you wanted to see most. It helped us greatly in choosing features and I think we've done a good job of fulfilling a bunch of those requests. Absolutepunk's on going video series Absolute Access has big plans for 2008, and we need your input! We plan on bringing you more video interviews, tour coverage and much more. Yesterday at the Warped Tour in Calgary, Emery announced that they will be re-releasing The Question. They said they were re-writing songs today and that there will be about 6 or 7 extra songs including acoustic and accapella versions of tracks from both The Question and The Weak's End. Also included will be a DVD and some "special content from the personal lives of the band members".

Emery's Devin Shelton will not be joining the band on their run on Warped Tour because he will be spending time with his new wife throughout the summer. Ben Tietz (ex-Number One Gun) will fill in for the summer. In other Emery news, The Question will be re-issued sometime this October. It is set to include brand new exclusive re-recordings of tracks from The Question and their debut, The Weak's End, a special DVD consisting of videos, behind the scenes footage, and a special video retrospective of the band.

Who will put out the better album: Brand New or Taking Back Sunday - and why?

There's been a lot of discussion throughout the boards as of late about albums that get re-issued and re-released. Some of the time it's the label's doing, and not the band's; some bands have even been mute on their album when it's re-released and you can't find them make mention of it anywhere (website, MySpace, newsletters, etc.) because they don't agree with it. How do you feel about a label taking a band's music, which is their art just as much as an artist's painting is theirs, and tampering with it in order to make some extra money, especially when it's against their will?

Who do you think is the best unsigned band out there right now? It'd be swell if you could be a little objective (i.e. don't pimp your band or your friend's band unless you really do think they're the best unsigned band).
