For vinyl collectors like myself, Record Store Day is our holiday - a day where limited and rare records we thought we might never own can finally be ours. It's also a great day to get foot traffic into your local stores, which is the hook of RSD. It's a fun day to spend with fellow collectors and joining in 'the hunt' for that rare piece. Record Store Day is just over 1 week away and Paramore will be celebrating with an acoustic performance at Grimey’s in Nashville. Grimey’s will also be selling a Record Store Day exclusive die-cut 7” vinyl in the shape of a hibiscus flower with the 3 interludes from the new album. The Holiday Sessions will be limited to 700 total copies. 300 of those will be available Grimey’s with the rest available in The Paramore Webstore for those who can’t make it to Nashville. The acoustic performance will begin at 1pm on Saturday, April 20th followed by a signing.

The release, which features the Manchester Orchestra/Grouplove collaboration "Make It To Me" and the Manchester Orchestra/Frightened Rabbit collaboration "Architect," will be available Saturday, April 20th at participating independent record stores.  | | |  | | | | | | | | | In a recent interview, Scott Hutchinson of Frightened Rabbit mentioned that he has been working on some material with Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra, and that fans can expect to see a single from the new project on Record Store Day (April 20th). He also mentioned that a full-length could possibly be in the works.
