Zao is currently mixing their new album right now at Electrical Audio in Chicago with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies). Check out the daily studio reports and photos on their MySpace page. FYI, the recording process has been documented for a limited edition DVD that will come with the album when it's released. Some of the song titles are as follows: "Physician Heal Thyself," "Everything You Love Will Soon Fly Away," "American Sheets on the Deathbed," "Killing Time Until It's Time To Die," "Kingdom of Thieves," "Pudgy Young Blonds With Lobotomy Eyes," and "A Last Time For Everything." Set Your Goals will head up to Seattle, WA in mid February to begin production on their debut full-length for Eulogy Recordings. The band will enter the studio with producer/engineer Barrett Jones (I Am The Avalanche, Jawbox, Nirvana) for three weeks between February 20th and March 11th. SYG will be playing the following shows along the West Coast on their way up to Seattle:

Twelve Tribes will head into the studio in April with Eric Rachel (Every Time I Die, Dillinger Escape Plan) and Ken Susi of Unearth will be handling the tracking. The album will be released in the summer through Ferret.
Sleeping at Last will begin recording their new record and follow up to the highly acclaimed Ghosts LP this week. Having recently left Interscope, the band plans to self-release the album no later than Summer. Source: Emotionalpunk.com
Page France are headed out on tour in support of their latest album, Hello, Dear Wind, starting next week. The band is expected to hit the entire US in March and April, including a stop at SXSW. Dates are below. Also, the band has started recording the first of three EPs due in 2006. The first one will be entitled To The Control Room, Children and the two to follow will only be a preview to yet another full length that will be released by the end of next year.
And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead is currently in the studio recording. However, they haven't decided whether what they're recording right now will be an EP or their next full length. If it turns out to be a full length, then they'll be working on it throughout the winter and will hopefully have it done by early spring, which means it'd be out in the summer or fall. If it ends up being an EP, it'll have four songs and will be out in the spring.
The Cardinal Sin will be entering Atlas Studios in Chicago, IL with producer Matt Allison (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms) and Neil Hennessy (The Lawrence Arms, Colossal) from January 9 - January 25 to record their debut full length. The release will be on Grey Flight Records who previously released the Oil and Water EP last March. 15 songs are slated to be recorded and the album is scheduled for an April 25, 2006 release date.
Dead To Fall are heading to Trax East to begin recording the follow up to their 2004 album Villainy and Virtue with producer Eric Rachel. Paul Romano (Mastodon, Godflesh) will be doing the artwork for the album.
Boy Sets Fire have recently wrapped up the recording of their new album, The Misery Index: Notes From the Plague Years. A US release date through Equal Vision has yet to be established, however, you can find the album in stores in Europe on February 24th.
15 Minutes Late (Fearless Records) has started recording their 1st record for the label. They have joined forces with Sean O'Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Hawthorne Heights, Motion City Soundtrack) at his new studio in Chicago. The record is expected to be done around Dec. 14 for a spring release.
Moraine are headed to the studio with producer Jesse Canon (The Cure, Limp Bizkit, Senses Fail and Avenged Sevenfold to name a few) within the next few weeks to record a 5 song EP. There are rumors of guest vocalists, but no one can be confirmed at this time.
Forgive Durden just finished recording some new demos with producer Casey Bates. The guys will be shopping these demos around to interested labels so expect to see a few of them posted on their pureVOLUME.com page in the near future.
