Slowriter, the solo project of Bryan Taylor, former guitarist of The Chariot, has signed with Autumn + Colour Records. His new single, “April 8”, as well as short promo video, are premiering today on Alt Press. “April 8” will be available as a digital single on March 12. Birmingham pop-rockers Taking Hayley have released "Better Luck Next Time", their third single from debut album Tricks And Games. The Bouncing Souls will celebrate 20 years as a band in 2009 by releasing one song each month as a digital download, and then compile them onto three 7" records over the course of the year through their own Chunksaah Records. The first download will be available on January 1st and is called "Gasoline." The band is also releasing limited edition merch and will be touring internationally in 2009.

Radiohead will be releasing In Rainbows on CD on December 31st internationally, on XL Recordings. No US date has been set yet. The band also sent out a statement saying that the $6 average/38% paying statistics reported earlier in the week were "wholly inaccurate" information which did not "reflect...the true success of the project." Also, "as the album could only be downloaded from the band's Web site, it is impossible for outside organizations to have accurate figures on sales."

Fujiya & Miyagi released their first proper full length album this past year internationally, and will release Transparent Things on January 23rd, 2007 through Deaf Dumb & Blind Recordings. To make up for the fact that they're a little late to America, the band has added a US-only exclusive track, "Reeboks In Heaven". Think krautrock/electronica music.
Streetlight Manifesto released their debut album, Everything Goes Numb, in 2003 via the label, and re-recording of lead vocalist Tomas Kalnoky's past material, Keasbey Nights, followed earlier this year.
Moneen have released a limited-edition DualDisk EP/DVD. One side is a CD, which can be played in any CD player or computer, and contains four acoustic versions of songs off The Red Tree (as well as one unreleased track).
