Early Thursday morning, Relient K's tour bus caught fire on the Pennsylvania Turnpike while en route to a show in Illinois. Last weekend was our highly successful AbsoluteAcoustic show in San Francisco with Relient K and I've attached some photos to this post (click on the replies in order to be able to see them). We had a great turnout of around 200-300 people, with some people waiting in line for up to five hours in order to be at the front. I'd like to thank the staff at the San Francisco downtown Apple store, Ashley and Kim from Capitol Records, Jon Lally, Travis for taking these pictures, and of course Relient K and their tour manager Scott.

I had the chance to catch the Saint Louis stop of the Sherwood/Mae/Relient K show last night. I've posted my thoughts about the show right here. Before the show I also got a chance to sit down with Dan for Sherwood and ask him a few questions. Look for the interview to be posted sometime later this week.
It appears that The Arcade Fire and Relient K will be vying for the #1 spot on next week's sales chart, with both releases estimated at moving around 90-100k units.
