Happy birthday to Matt Thiessen of Relient K, Mike Kennedy of The Wonder Years, Jimmie Deeghan of Every Avenue, Bentley Devan of Such Gold, Mikko Lindström of HIM, and Wednesday 13!

Relient K confirmed that they will be releasing a full cover LP in October and will begin working on a new full-length in the fall as well.

The first in our series of Backstage Sessions filmed at the 2011 Warped Tour comes from none other than Relient K. Head to the replies to watch the band perform acoustic renditions of "Forget and Not Slow Down" and a cover of Weezer's "Surf Wax America" in Mansfield, MA.

The high-resolution artwork for Relient K's covers EP, K is for Karaoke, has been added to the AP.net gallery. Having heard the album, I think it's safe to say that fans of the band will have fun with it.

Relient K will release their covers EP, K is for Karaoke, on June 28th digitally and at Warped Tour. The full album will be in stores October 4th.

On the Kidd Kraddick Radio show this morning, Hayley announced that Paramore will be touring with fun. and Relient K this year.

Matt Thiesen (Relient K) had to leave the last few days of the band's tour because his mother recently suffered a heart attack. Keep your thoughts with him and his family.
