Thin Dark Line have posted a R&B remix of "The Awesomeness" on their MySpace and PureVolume pages. This is the first song the band has self-recorded, but they promise they're hard at work on a new album and will begin posting new material as soon as they're completed.
Minus The Bear will be releasing an album of remixes that is set to be released on February 20th on Suicide Squeeze. The album will include remixes preformed by Dalek, Battles (Tyondai Braxton), Weird Science, P.O.S., Fog, Jay Clark (Pretty Girls Make Graves), Dark Baby, IQU and more are expected to be announced in the near future.
Of Montreal will be releasing The Satanic Twins, a remix album of Of Montreal's two most popular albums, Satanic Panic in the Attic and The Sunlandic Twins, featuring remixes by Broken Spindles, Grizzly Bear, I Am The World Trade Center and more. In related news, the band recently worked with producer Jesse Cannon (The Cure, Madison) on a remix of Cage's track "Shoot Frank", which Daryl Palumbo sings on. The Static Age's "Vertigo" has been remixed by Jade Puget (AFI) and is now called "Airplanes," and Dave Walsh of The Explosion has remixed "Amphibian" (now titled "Pakistan"). These are now available on iTunes and other mp3 "shops."
