Right Away Great Captain's vinyl release has been delayed.
Message From AndyI want to start off by saying that I hate seeing long letters about vinyl delays from bands. It's a pet peeve of mine and it pains me to have to do something similar here. The facts come down to this… I have been working non stop on this crazy vinyl packaging since December to make sure it would be ready by June 12th. Read my interview with Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra here.
From The InterviewWe try and collaborate and create new music with as many people as we can when we play live and in the studio for other projects. But this is a record that is going to be made by Manchester Orchestra and whoever is there to help us make it. And to answer what you actually wanted to know, Dr. Lacey asked if he could play a solo on our new record, and I said no... Scandalous isn't it?
