mewithoutYou's Rick Mazotta was robbed at the Best Western in Bismark, ND. You can read an account of the incident on Yelp.
Around 5:54 am on June 27th 2013, my girlfriend was shaking me awake screaming that there was a man in our room, she saw a shadow rummaging through our bags. Immediately, instincts to protect her and another friend of mine had kicked in and I was off and running. What would have been otherwise undetected episode turned into a physical altercation. I was able to kick the man towards the door and it was then we both fell and he got up and took off.

State Champs had their van broken into last night.
From The BandLast night in Montreal, QC at L'esco, we came outside to a smashed back window of our van with many personal items stolen including Macbooks, iPods, and a passport. We're ok, we'll still be playing Portland, Maine tonight at Studio250, and we're not asking for anything. Just wanted bands to take note and let everyone know we may not be back to Montreal for a very long time. Lesson learned and it could have been worse. We'll see you all back in the states to finish off our tour with Citizen and Candy Hearts.

Immediately following their recent Canadian tour, The Flatliners were robbed in Montreal, Quebec. You can read a short message from the band regarding the incident below.
The Flatliners Discuss RobberyFirst off, days after our Canadian tour ended we were robbed in Montreal. The people with nothing better to do than inconvenience and aggravate this touring band didn't get away with any of our equipment, but did manage to nab Paul's passport and all of Jon's CDs. We're talking close to 100 CDs GONE! We're working on compiling a list of missing records. Once it's ready we'll post it right here, and see if anyone can help us in replacing these for him. We're lucky we've still got everything...

Below is a letter from Men, Women & Children about how all of their equipment was stolen. And when I say all, I mean all. If there is anything you can do to help them get back on their feet, please head to their MySpace page and click the donate button; buying merch, or their album and songs on iTunes, will also do wonders for them. Every little bit helps! In upbeat news, though, the band has posted a new song, "Time For The Future," on MySpace.
Letter From MW&CDear people,

As some of you already know, our van and trailer and nearly every instrument we've ever had were stolen on Monday October 23rd in Detroit around 1 pm in the afternoon, right out of the parking lot of the Day's...

Patent Pending has been robbed again. You can read the details from the band below.
MessageHey kids. Dan Lipski here from the Patent Pending camp. Got some bad news for everyone...during our show tonight with Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, & Hangar 18 at the Knitting Factory in NYC our van was broken into and robbed. This isn't our first brush with such thievery...earlier this summer we were robbed while out on Warped Tour in LA. This hit wasn't nearly as big but the bums managed to get away with Joe's laptop, his Mp3 player, his PSP, about 20 of Michael's DVDs, all of our chargers (and our three-way splitter!!), a cup of change, Marc Kantor's toiletry bag (seriously), & We Put Out...

Kevin Devine's car was broken into yesterday, and a bunch of his gear was stolen.
MessageHello:
My name's Kevin Devine. I'm a musician from Brooklyn.

Two acoustic guitars were stolen from my car on N. 11th & Bedford in Williamsburg, Brooklyn between 1pm and 7pm yesterday (Wed, Jun 14th). I'm posting this hoping that someone might come across them being sold somewhere, and that that someone might let me know. It'd be much appreciated, and I'd try and figure some way to reward your kindness.

One is a Gibson J-185 acoustic/electric. It's a blonde lacquered finish with a cutaway and pearl inlays along the fretboard. It has a built-in EQ. It'll look pretty new - just got it storebought...

A Thorn For Every Heart's trailer was recently stolen; below is a message from the band:
Messagewhats going on everybody. yesterday morning our trailer was stolen right out of phil's driveway. we unhitched it because we flew out for the bamboozle festival and we needed to get it off of the street. luckily there wasn't much stolen. we had just put all of our equipment in our rehearsal studio. but, there were 2 very expensive guitars in there. one belonging to phil and the other belonging to justin. all of our merch was also stolen also. we're pretty bummed that this happened. we don't know why people would want to rip off bands. they don't understand that we sacrifice everything we have...

Streetlight Manifesto was robbed again last night:

Streetlight Manifesto MessageOk, now this is just getting ridiculous and somewhat annoying. last night, while we slept in the paris show promoter's apartment, our vehicle was broken into and robbed. again. since there are so many of us we have two vehicles on this tour, a tour van and a tiny little rental car. our little rental car was broken into and cleaned out of our possesions. this time we lost substantially less: about $4,000 worth of equipment (our soundguy uses the car for his rig). we lost the one expensive piece of equipment that wasn't stolen in last month's debacle, a 24 track hard drive recorder we've been using to...
