Small Band Round UpLearning Takes a Lifetime has released 2 new tracks on their myspace and an additional special song on their purevolume from their forthcoming 8 song EP "The Folks Inside" which is being independantly released February 13th '07. On December 5th the band will be playing with Lovedrug & Brandtson at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ.

The Promise Monument just released their debut 6-song EP Pretend to be Happy, It's the Newest Trend. The EP was recorded with Shaun Dermond of Atlantic Sound Recording. They just put up the entire EP on their myspace and purevolume accounts.

Small Band Round UpLong Island alternative-rock band, Post Roman have finally released their self-produced, personally funded debut album This Canvas, A Vessel. The record is up for purchase through their Myspace page. Also there, you will find four songs from the album ready to be streamed and downloaded.

Fallen From the Sky (JMB Records) have made it into the top 6 of the MTV2 Dew Circuit Breakout. The final lineup for the contest including them will be up shortly on mtv2.com. Small Band Round-UpFighting to Forget will be featured in the January issue of AP magazine. Expect photos and a write up about the band. Also they have announced two tours. One in september with Morning for the Masses and Guns Like Girls and another in october with Racing Kites.

Bialetti has made their four song E.P. available for download on PureVolume and MySpace.

Shade Under Five will be playing with Drop Dead Gorgeous, Folly, Look What I Did and The Human Abstract at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA on Aug. 23rd. The band is also putting the finishing touches on their new selftitled EP...

After a small little vacation I'm back with new "unknown" bands for you to check out in today's round up. Give these bands a listen.
Small Band Round UpDropout High have posted a new song on their myspace entitled "The Views of the Revolutionary Toward Himself" and have announced an upcoming hometown show with Spitalfield, Valencia, and Team Goldie. Keep an eye out for their debut EP this fall.

Scientist Versus Werewolf have announced that they will be heading into the studio later this month to record thier debut ep. The disc will be titled "The Soundtrack to Your Striptease" and will have 5-7 songs. The disc looks to be released in November.

Postmark Twain has signed a production deal with Sheppard Music Inc, and just finished recording with Shep & Kenny (Head Automatica, Cute is What We Aim For, Bayside). You can hear three new tracks at their myspace page.

Though our plans to interview Tom Delonge fell through last time due to conflicting schedules, we're not giving up, as I'll be interviewing Tom in the near future.
