Hits Daily Double is listing a new My Chemical Romance release an album name is not specified on their upcoming releases chart. The listing date is January 21, 2014. There is no way to tell whether it's a reissue of some kind, B-sides or a greatest hits, but we'll update this news post if any more information becomes available. Feel free to speculate in the replies.

Update: Alternative Press tweeted, "Lots of rumors circulating throughout the #MCRmy today. We have received confirmation that #MCR's alleged Jan. release is NOT new material." This is not exactly fraught with information but it's definitely a tweet.

Update #2: It's a greatest hits package.

Taking Back Sunday just tweeted the following: "Sorry we've be [sic] quiet for a minute over here. Just living a little life, writing a little music and making plans. We will fill you in soon." Nothing earth-shattering certainly, but perhaps something for TBS fans to get excited about in the near future. Stay tuned!

In this Grantland review of a recent Fiona Apple and Jon Brion show, Apple comments on how her new material has been done for a while.
From Grantland.com"At one point, a fan requested new material. "I can't remember [how to play] any of my new songs because they've been done for a fucking year," Apple replied. "Not her fault!" said Brion."

We've received several reports that Ryan Key from Yellowcard announced at their recent show in Utah on Sept. 30 that they will be writing new songs and have been working through their hiatus. Take this news with a grain of salt.

Controlling the Famous has updated fans on the status of the band:
MessageSo the rumors have begun and ended. Many people seem confused about the current state of Controlling the Famous and what's going to happen with the band. At this point, we are taking a few months off from the band to work and make some much needed cold hard cash.

We will have a better idea of our return to playing shows and touring in a few weeks or months when we have enough money to keep going on the road again. We apologize for jumping the gun on the break-up of the band. We can assure you that we have not broken up.

According to an article at TheGauntlet.com, NOFX frontman Fat Mike was not the reason for Underoath dropping off the Warped Tour. And despite rumors, a source close to the band has informed me that no one in the band was doing drugs while on the tour.

Due to illness (STREP THROAT), Say Anything has been forced to cancel tonight’s show at The Door in Dallas, TX, and most likely tomorrow's show in Houston as well. Refunds available at point of purchase. The band will be good to go for their European shows this weekend.

I found a message from Stefanie on DrivingThru.co.uk's website that clears up some rumors about The Early November's situation with Drive Thru Records.
Message From Stefanie"DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ! rumors are called rumors for a reason. no, the early november are not "desparately" trying to get off of our label. in fact, they're not even half-heartedly trying. we have a great relationship with the band, supported them through thick & thin for the past 4 years, and are releasing their new cd this summer. by the way, it's a triple disc and it fucking kicks ass.

speaking of kicking ass...HALIFUCKINGFAX. holy shit this cd rules. check out our splash page at drivethrurecords.com...
