According to an anonymous source, the sound company hired to work at this past weekend's Saints and Sinners Festival ran into some major problems, caused the main stage to run an hour late, and messed up the patch work/didn't have the monitors working properly. In turn, this caused Ryan of Envy on the Coast to blow out his voice, forcing the band to cancel two weeks of touring. John D, the festival coordinator/promoter, told the sound company the damage they caused went beyond the price of their services and instructed the Saints and Sinners staff to drink some beers, eat pizza and watch the sound engineer and his one crew guy load out equipment by themselves. It took the two seven hours.
If you are attending today's Saints and Sinners Fest, you should most definitely stop by the AP.net tent, where Jaime and I will be holding down the fort. Hey, we may even have some cool free stuff for you.
