Jagjaguwar Records who signed over the summer Montreal's The Besnard Lakes, a six-piece atmospheric band centered around husband-and-wife Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas, will be releasing their sophomore album, The Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse, on February 20, 2007. It was recorded in the same studio (Lasek's) as Wolf Parade, Islands and Sunset Rubdown. The album features guest appearances by members of bands such as Stars, The Dears and Gospeed!/A Silver Mt. Zion.

Panic! At the Disco just finished filming their second music video, this one for "But It's Better If You Do." Also, the band will be embarking on their first headlining tour from the beginning of June until August with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound as support.

The Format has submitted a new song to be posted on their MySpace site, but they're still waiting for it to be approved, processed and put up. The song is called "The Compromise," and it was recorded live and acoustic at The Edge 103.9 studio earlier in the year. Be on the look out!

One Second 2 Late have released the details surrounding their debut EP, From The Moon Down. The EP, which will be released this Saturday, December 17th via Exit 57 Records, was produced by Murray Daigle (Cauterize, Not By Choice, etc.) and will contain six original tracks.
