Departures and Moose Blood are teaming up to release a split EP on November 12th via No Sleep Records (US) and Fist In The Air Records (UK). The EP features two new tracks from each band and will be available on limited edition vinyl and digital download. Tin Horn Prayer and Rob Huddlestonwill be releasing a split on May 22 through Paper + Plastick Records. Tin Horn Prayer's songs will come from their new full-length, Grapple the Rails, which was recently recorded. Huddleston's songs will come from a bank of about three albums of recorded material that will make its way out through various EPs and splits. He is also working on new Ann Beretta songs.
Fake Problems and Gaslight Anthem have teamed up to release a brand new 7″ featuring both bands playing the Fake Problems track “Songs For Teenagers”. This release is due out April 26 and will be limited to 2,500
In addition to their tour together, Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystemwill be releasing a limited edition split 7" with LCD covering Joy Division's "No Love Lost" and Arcade Fire covering Serge Gainsbourg's "Poupee de Cire."
Reel Big Fish has announced that their forthcoming split effort with Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer, which is set to hit shelves at a later, unannounced date, will be titled Duet All Night Long. The release will feature three cover songs from each band, and each group's vocalist will perform alongside one another on eachother's band's tracks.
Big D and the Kids Table have set a late January 2007 release date for their forthcoming, split release with China's Brain Failure. The Bad News Records release will feature six tracks from both participating acts. On Brain Failure's end, you can expect to see guest appearances from both Dicky Barrett (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and Marc Orell (Dropkick Murphys).
Big D and the Kids Table have posted a medley of brand new material on their official MySpace page. The tracks come from the band's forthcoming split release with China's Brain Failure, entitled From Beijing To Boston, which is due out shortly via Bad News Records.
This Is Hell and Cancer Bats will be releasing a split 7". The as-of-yet untitled release will feature a new song from each band, plus each band covering one of the other bands' songs. The effort will be released this winter by Future Tense Records, who comments, "We could not be more happy to work with these boys - not only are both This Is Hell and Cancer Bats dear friends of ours, but we are huge fans of their entire bodies of work."
Anchors For Arms and BRP will be releasing a split EP sometime in the near future. The EP will contain Anchors For Arms' newest demos entitled "C'mon Let's Go Break Their Arms," "Machines," and "Come Together." The first two demos can be streamed at their pureVOLUME page.
According to a recent bulletin from the band, Big D and the Kids Table have finished recording six new songs for a split EP with Brain Failure, which is set to appear in stores this October. Additionally, the band has announced that after their summer tour dates have run their course, they will enter once more to begin work on a new full-length album.

Jonah Mantranga is set to release a 12" vinyl split with Frank Turner (ex-Million Dead) which will be released on the 25th of July through Welcome Home Records and Xtra Mile Recordings.The release will contain 4 tracks in total, 2 from Jonah who will be covering 2 British folk songs and 2 from Frank who will be covering 2 American folk songs.
