The Mountain Goats have announced some tour dates for next March. It's all West Coast dates, but more tours will added soon for early next year with at least four more US dates.
Ordinary Clothing (Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance) has just released their new Spring line. To coincide, they have just launched a brand new website and have posted a lengthy update about recent happenings with the company.
Vanderbilt University's "Rites Of Spring" festival will be taking place on April 21-22 on the Nashville, TN campus. Bands include My Morning Jacket, Ben Folds, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Gov't Mule and more. Tickets are $25 for a single day and $40 for the weekend and is open to students and the general public. They go on sale March 1st on Ticketmaster.
Bullet Train To Vegas will be touring the west coast in March with Read Yellow and Haram followed by a three week tour covering the midwest and east coast in April. When the band returns home from touring, they will enter the studio with producer Alex Newport (At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Ikara Colt) to record their new cd that is tentatively titled, Blasphemy So Divine.
Ignite have been recording a new album since November with producer Cameron Webb(Silverstein). The effort is expected to arrive in the Spring through Abacus Recordings. A US tour with Comeback Kid will begin sometime in March.
