Today we are excitedly teaming up with our friends in The Wonder Years and Stay Ahead of the Weather, along with Hopeless Records, to bring you a stream of the Punk Is Dead. Get A Job. split, which comes out April 24. You can listen to the songs and check out our Too Long; Do Read cover article for April right here. If You Get A Chance To Win, Take It traces how The Wonder Years have grown steadily from the release of The Upsides to their first "big-boy headliner" on this year's GK Tour. It also gets into important stuff like haircuts and tattoos. Leave your thoughts on the article and the new songs in the replies.
In fact, that growth has led to a point in time where there is another...

It looks like tomorrow's announcement from The Wonder Years is a preorder for a split 6" record (yes, 6") from them and Stay Ahead of the Weather. On tonight's Gunz Show, Soupy from the band said, "[Stay Ahead of the Weather] recorded a song, we recorded a song, this was last year. We were talking for so long about how bad we wanted to put this split out, but it never found the right timing… it’s finally happening, it goes on sale tomorrow… The songs are obviously killer." It's going to be limited to 1,000 and on a few different colors. We'll post a link to the preorder tomorrow when it goes live.

Update: The 6" is now up.

Quote"There's no economy for bullshit." There is no money to go around for these elaborate, dumb fucking rock bands. There's no economy for that. No one wants to see some dude jerking off on stage for hours. People want to see bands on stage just playing music, being authentic and being themselves. You can see right through a band that's bullshit. Nobody wants to be lied to anymore. People are getting lied to everywhere they go. People don't want to be lied to when they go somewhere that makes them happy.
