Steel Train and Tegan and Sara will tour together in 2010. Dates can be found in the replies.

Steel Train will be doing three special holiday shows this year. The first, on December 29th, will be a set of songs from Trampoline and the new album, the second show on December 30th will be an all request night, and the third show will be a bowling party on January 2nd at the new Brooklyn Bowl. Check the replies for more info on the request night and where to get tickets.

Hi!

It has been a crazy few days. On july 3rd we got home from the Spill Canvas Tour. This was an amazing tour for us. Some of the greatest people we have ever toured with, and we truly miss everyone already. Seriously, from day one of that tour everyone was so amazing to us and we made life long friends for sure.

After getting home,,,, Daniel went to 2 days of camp. Dead serious he does it every year with his family at a yiddish camp. ?? Apparently he played sports and other jewish things. Jon sailed around the hudson on his yacht....not true. Dont...

Just a reminder - Steel Train will perform tonight on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

Today at 5 p.m., Steel Train will be doing an in-store acoustic performance and signing at Record Exchange in Boise, ID.

It was Steel Train's third time performing at Bonnaroo and the best yet. Pictures from the festival are here. The band also did a backstage interview with SPIN, which you can watch here.

Steel Train's set at Wakarusa Festival was destroyed by a tornado.

At approximately 8:15 PM last night, Steel Train was supposed to take the stage at the Wakarusa Festival in Lawrence, KS (Flaming Lips, Ben Folds, Dr.Dog). As the band stepped on stage sirens went off and the emergency broadcasting system blared, telling people to evacuate the premisis immediately cuz a tornado was about to sweep through the area. The band left its equipment onstage, hopped in a transport van and was carried off to a hotel while the tornado ravaged the festival grounds.
