Steel Train will be doing a co-headlining tour with Ace Enders in October along with Socratic and Kevin Devine. Dates will be announced September 4th.

At the Ace Enders show in Pittsburgh, PA he announced The Early November DVD will be released January 9, and told fans to expect a b-sides CD from the band this Winter. He also mentioned his new band will be on Drive-Thru Records, and they're planning an upcoming tour with Steel Train.

Lastly, Enders told everyone to come visit AbsolutePunk.net and join the site.

Below is an update from Steel Train about recording and their upcoming tour.
MessageHey people, Evan here. We've been in LA for the past two months working on our new album with supercool guy/great producer Mark Trombino (it comes out on October 2nd via DTR). We're in the midst of mixing it and we truly couldnt be happier (To check out some funny studio pictures go to our new buzznet page. Steel Train will be going on a mini-tour next week that leads up into them recording their second full length in LA. They'll be going into the studio with producer Marc Trombino (Rilo Kiley, Jimmy Eat World) and the new album is due out September of this year. Steel Train will be kicking off a mini tour on April 7th that wil bring them out to the West Coast to begin recording their next full length. Tickets for the NY show are going fast so buy them online if you'd like to attend. To see pictures from their adventures at SXSW, check out their MySpace.
