This box set, Volume One, showcases the first three albums: Another Day in Paradise, Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues, and Twisted By Design, all fully remixed by Ryan Greene, helping to display the true power of these songs along with nuances previously unheard. We’ve re-scanned all the artwork from the original pieces and included deluxe foldout inserts with never before seen photos and extensive liner notes from the band.
We had a good productive practice tonight (minus Rob..he’s on tour with Implants) We went over all the songs we’ve got written so far and we even wrote another one. I think we’ve got like 18 now and we will narrow it down to the best. December is crunch time cause we shall be hitting the studio by the 1st week of January 2014. This means, 2014 will for sure be seeing a new Strung Out album!
Veteran punk rock outfit Strung Out is heading out on a huge headlining tour this summer, bringing out bands such as Handguns, Such Gold, and The Swellers. With the band's three month trek starting today in Portland, OR, we thought we would give away two of Strung Out's landmark albums - Twisted By Design and Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues. However, don't think you'll be winning these albums so easy. You have to answer three questions to win the records. Head to the replies to check out the questions. The first person to get all three answers wins.
Strung Out guitarist Jake Kiley married his girlfriend Eliza on stage, in the middle of a show, last week. Bad Religion's Greg Hetson acted as officiant, Bad Religion's Brooks Wackerman acted as best man, and The Used's Bert McCracken stood in as the bridesmaid. Congratulations to the couple!
