-Last night, Cartel played their first acoustic set because Kevin, the drummer, had to head home for the night to attend his brother's graduation. The band played all of Chroma (give or take) with the exception of "Q" and "A".
-Hit The Lights' singer, Colin, has strep throat so the band may need to drop off of a few shows. Expect details on that soon.

DucatKing has posted several items on Ebay up for auction with all proceeds benefitting Andy Jackson of Hot Rod Circuit. The auction started yesterday at 12pm and will end on Sunday, May 7th at 12pm. Autographed items have been donated from such bands as Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Thrice, and New Found Glory. For those who weren't informed, Andy, along with his family, lost most of their belongings when their house burned down. Come check out the auctions below for a chance at some rare items, and help Andy and his family out at the same time.
Head Automatica has released audio streams of “Graduation Day,” the first single off their upcoming Howard Benson-produced album Popaganda, coming this spring. After SXSW, Head Automatica will complete a string of dates and then join Avenged Sevenfold and Coheed and Cambria for the first half of their spring tour from 4/7 to 4/27.
Silverstein have a very important update regarding the Take Action tour. The Tampa show has been cancelled due to the venue being shut down. They have added a headlining show in Gainesville, FL @ Common Grounds (tickets $7) on March 10th. Also, the band will not be performing in South Carolina next week, but the show will still be going on without them.

Damiera has posted two brand new tracks titled "Via Invested" and "M(us)ic" from their debut full length M(us)ic on pureVOLUME.com. The album was produced by Jason Dezuzio (Coheed & Cambria) and is slated for release in May via Tamerlane Recordings.
Greeley Estates are almost finished recording their new full length, which is expected to be out in June. Also, the band's new video for "Y'all With The Vampire Squad" will be making it's way online soon.
Atreyu have titled their upcoming release, A Deathgrip On Yesterday and it's slated to drop on March 28, 2006 through Victory Records. If you're interested in hearing some of the band's new tunes, be sure to attend the Taste Of Chaos tour, as they will be playing some of them live. The Bamboozle Festival 2006 is proud to annouce Fall Out Boy and Taking Back Sunday as this year's headliners. Fall Out Boy will perform on Saturday, May 6th and Taking Back Sunday will perform on Sunday, May 7th at The Meadowland's Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ. Limited discount weekend passes are on sale now exclusively at the festival's website for $57.00 (including $2.00 facility fee). Bamboozle will make more announcements as artists are confirmed. Lots of Anberlin news: the band will be performing at the Next Big Thing concert in Tampa Bay this Sunday, December 4th, Surf Fest on the Island of Oahu along with National Product on December 17th, some Australian shows (check below for details), they've posted "Feel Good Drag" on their MySpace page, one should expect dates for the band's tour with Hawthorne Heights and Emery very shortly, and last but not least, Anberlin's been getting some radio play lately, so go call your local radio station and request "Paperthin Hymn."
Many labels and distributors are expected to be in attendance at Halifax's Nov 29th NYC Knitting Factory show as DTR continues to seek a new distro deal. New additions to possible suitors include RED Distribution with JV deals with one of the other sony labels. Current Drive-Thru distributor, Sanctuary, are facing lawsuits for various issues.
